Ari Kestin
Founder & CEO
Ari Kestin. Mr. Kestin graduated from Duke University with a BA in comparative area studies and pursued corresponding studies at the University of Paris. He is an energetic and focused tech entrepreneur, whose leadership is driven by values, and the creation of value. Mr. Kestin launched his first venture straight out of university. He went on to manage and scale several other ventures and technology companies across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, including one of the first-ever mobile virtual network operators in the UK in partnership with BT Cellnet. Prior to joining Aliya Capital as its chief investment officer for venture, he was co-founder and CEO of Oslo based Nimber, a logistics marketplace. Mr. Kestin has held executive positions with several Nasdaq-listed companies. A recipient of the coveted “Forever Duke” award, he also spent eight years as Chairperson of the Duke Admissions Advisory Committee for Switzerland. He is currently the chairperson for Duke Advisory Committee for Saudi Arabia, covering the GCC area. Mr. Kestin is married and a father of four, and resides in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He speaks fluent English, German, French, Hebrew, and basic Arabic.
